En Avant is a fun way to show off the variety of colors in a Koigu Jasmine pencil box. The scarf is nice and wide, and will keep you snuggled and warm in the cold weather. The pattern calls for an additional skein of Koigu Jasmine, but since the scarf is rather long, you can choose to omit the additional skein, just saving one of the mini-skeins for the edging.

SIZE: One size, approx.. 11”W x 80”L blocked
(approx. 11”W x 68”L before blocking)

MATERIALS: Koigu Jasmine DK Pencil Box (10 25g skeins of different colors, 600 yds. total)
Plus, one skein of Koigu Jasmine DK 100g/242 yds, in a coordinating color (pattern uses approximately 120 yds of the skein).
Your total yardage needed is 720 yds. in a DK weight.

The pattern is written for 11 colors (a pencil box, plus additional skein), but you can play with more or less colors and still get a dramatic effect! One Pencil Box on it’s own will still give you plenty of length.

Size 8 needles, your preference; straight or circular, or size to get gauge. Yarn needle for weaving in ends, 2 removable stitch markers.

GAUGE: Approximately 16 sts & 32 rows = 4” blocked (20 sts & 38 rows before blocking)

This colorful wrap begins at the “pointed end” and continues, showing off your beautiful colors. You end with two points, and then add a frill to both ends.
