Designed by Meghan Kelly, Evangelina begins with a garter tab cast on, and then the shawl is worked from the neck out. Four increases are worked on every right side row to shape the triangle. When working from the chart, work all RS rows from right to left and all WS rows from left to right.

The lace pattern is worked on both sides. You may find it useful to use a stitch marker to identify the right side of your work. We do not indicate in the instructions where to place stitch markers; you may place them wherever you find it useful to assist you in working the lace pattern.
