Pattern description from Bag Style: “For a fresh alternative to the black nylon laptop bag, Kate jackson knitted and felted her own jazzy striped version. She worked the body of this bag in one piece from side to side, beginning and ending with extra strips to make pleats that provide necessary depth. The she knitted a separate piece for the shoulder trap, which she made long enough to extend all the way to the base of the bag. For stability and strength, Kate felted the whole thing, then she added a little embroidery detail to make it clearly her own.”

Notions: Removable markers; stitch holders; tapestry needle; pillowcase; felting needle (optional).

Note from Bag Style: “Take time to check your gauge. Because the bag will be felted, exact gauge is not crucial for the finished size of the bag, but you’ll want to be sure not to run out of yarn.”
