A town that loves a good shindig, Stars Hollow is home to various events throughout the year such as the Old Muddy River Bridge Knit-A-Thon, Bid-On-A Basket Festival, the Winter Carnival, the End of Summer Madness Festival, a 24-Hour Dance-A-Thon, Movie Night in the Square, the Spring Fling Festival, the Battle of Stars Hollow Reenactment, Festival of Living Art, and, of course, the Founders Firelight Festival. Taking place in late winter, this festival celebrates the founding of the town: two lovers were kept apart by their families but, brought together by fate, met under the stars where the town gazebo was built. Highlights of the festival include the bonfire, sparkling stars hung in the trees, twinkle lights, Miss Patty’s Founder’s Day punch (careful, it’s strong!), and photos taken by Luke’s long-lost girlfriend, Rachel.

In celebration of Stars Hollow’s annual Firelight Festival, this blanket captures the beautiful fire and warm starlight of the evening. Worked flat, seed stitch borders with embossed flame motifs surround the star stitch center panel. Not meant to be a perfect square as the star stitch panel creates a slight bias, the throw features fire motifs that encourage wavy edges and extreme comfort.
