Flock is a reversible beanie with an abundance of cozy ribbing and a
unique construction. Shaped with German short rows, the beanie grows diagonally one way then switching directions grows the opposite way, finishing with more ribbing worked into crown decreases. The construction keeps your interest and the ribbing stretches to fit a variety of head sizes. Flock is knit in Sincere Sheep Cormo Fingering, a 100% Cormo wool, grown and spun in Wyoming and naturally dyed with indigo in California. Soft as butter and full of bounce, the naturally dyed colors are beautiful.

Flock is one of 6 accessory patterns in The Wool Project collection e-book. The Wool Project is more than just a pattern collection. It’s a catalyst to spark your journey of exploration through the wonders of wool. Each of the patterns in The Wool Project was chosen to showcase a particular breed-specific wool yarn; to give knitters a taste of the distinct characteristics of each sheep’s fleece transformed into a beautiful skein of yarn.
