Are you as fascinated by the sight of geese in flight as I am? Their graceful V-formation
and synchronized wing flapping are both aerodynamic and energy-efficient, reminding us
of balance, working together, and finding a path home.

The tucks arranged in a V-shape in this top reminded me of geese flying home, their wings flapping in perfect harmony. While knitting this top, I also reflected on my own “flights” back
to Kazakhstan and what home means to me — feelings of familiarity, comfort,
and sanctuary. Creating by hand helps me embrace these emotions. I hope the enjoyable construction and soothing stockinette stitch of this top
will help you find that sense of home in your knitting.
