This colorful, textured, over-the-shoulder shaped cowl will be the one you reach for. Its slim fit is perfect for extra warmth under your jacket or by itself on a foggy morning!

I worked up this cowl sample in doubled fingering weight yarn - I happened to have Seven Sisters Arts’ Meridien gradient set in the gorgeous Seaweed colorway and doubled up the yarn to make a nice dk-weight. However, this cowl can be knit in virtually any size and any gauge by working it in lighter or heavier yarn. I give details in the pattern, including exactly what shoulder measurement you will end up with according to your real gauge. You can also create your own Fibonacci stripe patterns with whatever colors you have on hand. It’s easy, huge fun, uses up yarn leftovers, and best of all, I tell you exactly how to do that in the pattern too. You just can’t lose with this one. And for the next little while (until November 28, 2021) you can get the cowl pattern FREE with the purchase of the Misty Morning Sweater. Just put both patterns in your cart and you’re set.
