Inspired by Stella Rues Dutch Ganseys exhibition and book this light as a feather circular cowl features traditional gansey patterns found on fisherman’s sweaters of the North Sea.

It makes a perfect sampler project and introduction to knitting gansey stitch patterns.

Knitted in a lace weight yarn for a light airy and very wearable cowl.

Features a neat knit as you go i-cord edge.Uses an invisible cast on to start, knitted to length desired and the two edge stitches weaved together for a seamless cowl.
