Gluten Free
My husband asked me for a new hat, something different than the ones he already has. He wanted something a little warmer, but that would also look good without being too bulky. I immediately knew that our Fat Panda would be perfect for his hat, because it’s a warm, aran weight superwash yarn. Based on my husband’s criteria, I designed a rustic hat with a stitch pattern pattern that reminds me of wheat on the stalk. It’s stylish and warm without the bulk, and my husband loves it. Since no actual wheat was used in the making of the hat, it’s completely Gluten Free!
He has only taken this hat off for bed and washing since I made this. As you can tell by the pictures, I “punished” him for coming up with this hat by making him stand out in a snowstorm to take the pictures.
This hat will be on sale at half price through February 2015 and also available through the “Headless Blues” e-book. Come March, it will go up to full price. If you wish to get the pattern for free, you can purchase the yarn to make the hat at Spunky Eclectic and we’ll give you the pattern for free during the month of February (2015).
Check out the “Headless Blues” e-book for more patterns released monthly November 2014 through February 2015. Hang on to your heads!
No refunds on pattern purchases.
