While not truly reversible (i.e. both sides aren’t the same), the cowl is equally lovely on both sides. The simple texture is the perfect base for hand painted yarn.

Gauge:
Worsted Size: 18 sts and 29.5 rows to 4 inches (10 cm) over Chart A, blocked.
Bulky Size: 14.5 sts and 24.5 rows to 4 inches (10 cm) over Chart A, blocked.

Yarn:
Worsted Size: 385 yards/385 meters of alpaca/merino worsted weight yarn that knits up to 5 sts/inch.
Bulky Size: 218 yards/200 meters of alpaca bulky weight yarn that knits up to 4 sts/inch.

Finished Size (blocked):
