Finished Measurements:
• 8.5 (9.5, 10.5)” leg circumference
• 8 (8.5, 9.5)” foot circumference

Materials: 1 skein (400 yards/120 grams) Hazel Knits Artisan Sock (90% Merino, 10% Nylon), color 232 Wheatberry

Needles: size US 1 (2.25 mm) or size needed for gauge - your preference of double- pointed needles or circular Magic Loop

Extras: 3 stitch markers, tapestry needle for weaving in ends, extra double-pointed needles for Kitchener

Gauge: 36 sts and 48 rounds over 4” in stockinette stitch

Notes

Directions are given here for the first sock. In order to make its mate symmetrical work Chart A when Chart B is called for and vice versa. When directions call for you to “work Chart A or B” work the correct row for your size. Chart Instructions appear on Page 3.

The construction of the Short Row Toe means that there is a longer Kitchener than usual. You may wish to visit the TECHknitting blog to read up on her Kitchener technique, (which is brilliant) and doesn’t use a tapestry needle.
