This necklace takes knitting with beads one step further by introducing the concept of prestringing beads in a predetermined order. The prestrung beads create a color pattern, while gentle ruffles develop at the neckline. The necklace is finished off with my all-time favorite lace bind-off with beads incorporated at the center.

The only bad part about summer is that it’s hard to “tag” yourself as a knitter! That’s when knitted jewelry comes to the rescue. Knit in tencel, a cellulositic fiber that is cool to the touch, this necklace is flattering with an open neckline and lightweight dress. The beads add weight so it sits on your neck perfectly!

There are also kits for Hibisco if you don’t have access to all the supplies and want to make one :)!
