The Hideaway Cardigan is an open front boxy cardigan with an all-over eyelet pattern and dropped sleeves with gathered cuffs.
It is knit seamlessly from the bottom up. After the splitting for the arms the back and fronts are worked separately, and the live stitches are seamed together at the shoulder. The sleeves are worked from the shoulder to the cuffs, and the button band is worked last.

Hideaway is my dream summer cardigan: lightweight enough to wear on warm days yet substantial enough to keep you cozy during evenings on the porch.
