This five-foot long loop is designed either to be worn wrapped twice around the neck for the ultimate warmth or to hang in a relaxed loop when you need more air. Knit in the round as a tube, the finished cowl is round and substantial, with no wrong side no matter how you find yourself wanting to wrap it. If you’d like to substitute stitches, here is a great opportunity to try out a stitch that may be more difficult to knit flat, with either purls or twists on the wrong-side row.
