Inversion Gloves are a simple pair of squishy fingerless mitts knit in the round and using only knit and purl stitches to create a warm and eye-catching texture. The stitch pattern is fully charted as well as written. These gloves are part of my Inversion set, including a matching cowl.

Buying options

The gloves are available for purchase separately, or as part of an eBook with the accompanying Inversion Cowl. Previous purchasers of either pattern will receive an automatic discount on the cost of the eBook, should they decide to buy it in future.

Sizing

The pattern is provided in one size only. Due to the stretch of the stitch pattern, finished dimensions fit a hand circumference of 7-9” and a wrist circumference of 6-8”.

If you need to adjust the size of the cuff (if you have skinny wrists like mine!) it would be best achieved by using smaller/larger needles rather than changing the cast on number.

Yardage

The gloves require approx. 90yds / 82m of worsted weight yarn. One skein of Cascade Eco+ will be enough for these gloves plus the accompanying cowl, with plenty left over!

A note on yarn substitutions

The yarn used for this sample is listed in the Ravelry database as “bulky”, however it is by general consensus more of a worsted.
