These mitts were inspired by my Walking to Hagrid’s Hut hat pattern. I wanted to design a pair of fingerless mitts that you could wear with any outfit and have them be simple to make. The tight braid has to be one of my favourite cables, it’s so memorizable and easy. This is a great beginner cable project. With simple row repeats that gets very intuitive you can bring this project anywhere.

Maybe you’ll even try cabling without a cable needle for the first time. This is a great project to try a new technique
