This lovely cable lace scarf contains two distinct stitches. The focal stitch is a unique cable stitch that is surrounded and offset by lovely rarely seen cable stitch. Together they make a very distinct and beautiful scarf. Both stitches comes to us from Japan.

Skill Level: Intermediate (assuming a good working knowledge of knitting, purling, cabling and mock cables.

This pattern is both charted and written out line by line.

The yarn used in the sample is Lorna’s Laces Sportmate yarn, in colorway Key Largo.

There are also instructions for an optional crocheted border, should you want it edged.
