Spin! Series 1 - no.2

I don’t know what possessed me to start with the bright orange, it’s definitely not a ‘me’ colour as you probably know! I think it was a mental glitch that day, or perhaps we were experiencing particularly gloomy London weather. Once it was done though, I couldn’t turn back and the result was many hours of blending, drafting and spinning with resounding cries of ‘What was I thinking of?!’

But it kind of grew on me in the end, and I love these socks with their wandering cable patterns and the halo of fuzzy mohair. Maybe you won’t choose orange, but I know you’ll love the process of following the tutorial to blend the fibres, spinning and knitting the included sock pattern either for yourself, or for a special someone else.
