Josephine was a modern sweater for the modern lady of 1918.

Women had already begun bobbing their hair, and had long since abandoned their corsets. Post-Victorian lady and pre-Roaring Twenties flapper, soft sweater dressing and sportswear was becoming the order of the day.

My version of Josephine refines the fit of the original

while keeping the flavor of those changing times. The original pattern came in one size, our re-vamped version has ten. We also include directions for short row shaping at the bust which vastly improves the fit.

This pattern is included in our E-book, Vintage Knitting for Modern Bodies. Learn to size ANY pattern up or down (not just vintage styles!) with the info in this book.
