A twirly and fun version of my June Camisole, the June Empire Top features a forgiving empire shape, and is knitted in worsted yarn, making this a fairly quick knitting project!
The June Empire Top is knitted seamlessly in the round, almost entirely in stockinette stitch, with thick straps to conceal bra straps. It features a slightly rolled hem for a casual look, and is sure to become a head-turner!

Pair it with fun jeans or a fitted skirt and dance away!

The June Empire Top is a size-inclusive knitting pattern for an empire-waist camisole with a sweetheart or v-neckline. It is knitted from the bottom up in the round, seamlessly, before being split to knit the neckline flat across right and left front. It can be knitted in your preferred length, by adding or reducing the amount of stockinette in the body.
It is finished with wide i-cord straps to hide your bra straps and that are customizable to your preferred length.

It works up quickly in KnitPicks Comfy Worsted Yarn (75% Pima Cotton, 25% Acrylic).

Available in sizes XXS, XS, S, M, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL, 4XL, 5XL, to fit bust sizes 30 (32, 34, 38, 42, 44) {48, 50, 54, 58}” or 76 (81, 86, 96, 106, 111) {122, 127, 137, 147} cm, this camisole is designed to be worn with 0 - 2” of positive ease, depending on your personal preference. Model is wearing size XS on a 34” bust.

This is a easy-intermediate level knitting pattern. For this pattern, you will need to know how to knit and purl stitches, and how to work decreases. You will also knit an i-cord.

Materials needed:
KnitPicks Comfy Worsted Yarn (75% Pima Cotton, 25% Acrylic); 109 yd (100 m) / 50 grams or another Worsted weight /category 4 yarn.
Approximately 447 (483, 515, 599, 658, 714) {781, 835, 914, 1003} yd / 409 (442, 471, 548, 601, 653) {714, 764, 836, 917} m.

4 mm (US 6) circular knitting needles with min. 24“ (60 cm) cable (longer cables as sizes get larger, ensuring cable is long enough to accommodate stitches) + a shorter cable for when garment is decreased (I switched to 14”)

4 mm (US 6) DPNs for i-cord
or size needed to obtain gauge
Cable needle
Tapestry needle
Stitch markers
Scrap yarn or stitch holder
