These knee-length socks have 5 separate toes. There is a 1x1 ribbed cuff worked on size 2 US needles. The remainder of the sock is worked on size 3 US needles. The pattern calls for double-pointed needles, but you could use magic-loop or two circulars. The toes will probably require dpns unless you’re very adept at making small portions in the round with one of the other two techniques.

The socks are worked top-down and in the round.

The socks are shaped: from the widest part of the calf, down, there are decreases in the leg.

There is a heel-flap and heel-turn heel. The toes are each separately picked up from the foot stitches and worked like the fingers on a glove. Each toe is closed at the top by pulling yarn through stitches.

This sock as shown in the pattern is worked in 22-round stripes of orange and eggshell. The toes alternate solid orange and eggshell.
