The lace stitch on this blanket looks incredibly complex to tackle, but in fact it is one of the easiest patterns to knit. It is formed from repeating just four rows where stitches are decreased and increased to make eyelets in a wave design. The pattern also creates a beautiful scalloped effect on the cast-on edge.
