This tiny knit featuring a portrait of lavender in a beaded medallion is all you desire when you need the fastest present to knit, or want to bring a bit of beaded glamour into your life, or when your knitting mojo only lasts for a really small knit.

The pattern is available individually and in the Coming Into Bloom e-book. The e-book will contain 8 patterns in total. By purchasing this collection you will pay for the patterns twice less.

If you purchase the e-book now, all the patterns will be delivered automatically to you once they are published: Lavender Bracelet and a matching shawl, hat and fingerless mitts, as well as another set of matching accessories (shawl, hat and fingerless mitts), and there will also be a surprise pattern. You can see the other flower pattern here: Poppies Shawl.

The surprise pattern will be exclusive to the owners of the e-book for four months after it is published.

The pattern is fully written out and charted. This design incorporates beads that are pre-strung. Tutorials for placing beads and working dip stitches are included with the pattern along with the finishing options for different bracelet closures.

With this small project you will explore new techniques such as knitting with beads, dip stitches, and simple bobbles. Knitting the bracelet allows you to use up those last few grams of a luxury yarn you want to wear close to your skin.

Fingering weight yarn is used for the sample knit. I highly recommend getting the Walk Collection Cozy Kid Merino that I used. If you also plan to knit a matching shawl, get two skeins. The size of the bracelet is easily customized
as you work lengthwise. Even if you work at a gauge different than recommended, you can adjust the length as you go.

For information about sizes, measurements and yarn requirements please check the second page of the pattern located among the photos on the left.

I asked test knitters what they would like to tell about the pattern and the finished shawl to other knitters and here are some of their answers:

LiFen Well written, quick knit and a nice gift.

Vaida It’s a perfect way to use those precious leftovers — and a quick sweet gift for yourself or a worthy one.

gringaquilmes Although this is a small item, it’s really a lot of fun to make. And the process gives you the opportunity to learn and/or practice several special stitches, including knitting with beads. Not instant, but fast gratification guaranteed — you won’t be able to make just one bracelet!

Tricologie This pattern was a beautiful way to learn how to knit with beads, the project itself is quick and enjoyable, and although I knew the bracelet would be lovely, I am still surprised at how often I wear it.

Sig Quick knit, very nice gift for anyone and you can use any scraps available. Also liked the added bling! After wearing it, its very cozy, like an added layer for winter.

Darite A high-quality pattern that offers a quick taste of various fun techniques (beadwork, dip stitches, bobbles) and yields a lovely friendship gift, whether as bracelet or as shawl cuff.

Gwyndolyn The pattern’s detailed and well-written! Trust the instructions and stay focused. Admire your work often.
