This is a pattern for a turtleneck scarf. that’s made using a sport weight yarn. However, the turtleneck aspect of the scarf keeps you warm on even the coldest days. The intricate and unusual cable stitch is both charted and written out line by line. There is also instructions for an optional crocheted edging, should you want the scarf edged.

Of course, if you want a more traditional scarf, you can just keep knitting and skip the turtleneck section.

Skill Level: Intermediate (assuming a basic knowledge of cabling.)

The yarn used in the sample is Lorna’s Laces Shepherd Sport in the colorway, Mirth.

This pattern was expertly tested by Tina Rawls, who can be contacted at: trawls65@ hotmail.com.
