This pattern is for a pair of cabled socks. The cable itself is a Canadian cable that comes to us from the creative mind of Annie Maloney. and is just perfect for socks. There’s enough “give” to make them comfortable, but enough unusual cabling to make them interesting to look at and fun to knit.

Skill Level: Intermediate (assuming a basic knowledge of knitting and purling, and cabling).

The cable stitch is both charted and written out.

This pattern is written for 2 circular needles and is written for sizes Small, Medium, Large and Extra Large, and is sized by gauge. If you make a size L or XL: Please adjust your yarn to fit the needle size if you are making L or XL.

The sock pictured here was made with Fleece Artist’s Blue Nose Sock Yarn, in colorway Topaz (light).

The socks shown in the sample was expertly test knitted by Karen Bowen who can be contacted at: ktbowen18 @msn.com
