Mardi Gras Reversible Cable Scarf with invisible intarsia
by Ray Whiting
This pattern is
available from knitivity.com
for $4.50.
This Mardi Gras Scarf pattern incorporates solutions to the most common problem of scarves: because of the reversible cables and my new “nearly-invisible intarsia” technique, this scarf can blow in the wind and never reveal a “front” or “back” side.
Pattern includes both text and chart instructions, plus detailed photographs for the nearly-invisible intarsia, making it well worth the price of the pattern just to learn this technique.
Also, this pattern and stitch technique can be used for (just for example) a Patriotic red-white-and-blue scarf, or with any other combination of colors where you don’t want obvious intarsia color-changes appearing!
