This pattern is for a pair of cable lace socks. The cable itself is a Japanese cable lace that is just perfect for socks.
There’s enough “give” to make them comfortable, but enough unusual ribbed cabling to make them interesting to look at and fun to knit. And, I have added a touch of lace to make them even more comfortable.

Skill Level: Intermediate (assuming a basic knowledge of knitting and purling, lace knitting and cabling).

The cable stitch is both charted and written out line by line.

This pattern is written for 2 circular needles and is written for sizes Small, Medium, Large and Extra Large, and is sized by gauge

The sock pictured here was made with Lorna’s Laces Shepherd Sock yarn, in colorway, Mirth.

The socka shown in the sample was expertly test knitted by Marsha Harvey, who can be reached at: mrjdesigns49@gmail.com
