“Mei Mei” is a little Chinese doll. She likes to wear her hair long in the front and tied up in a bun in the back. Sometimes she ties them up in two buns. It’s up to you! Kokeshi dolls are traditionally made out of wood with simple lines which makes them ideal for making into amigurumi dolls.

You’ll need:
Worsted Weight yarn in colors of your choice
Polyester fiberfill stuffing
Pair of black safety eyes, size 9 (optional)
Beads for hair ornament
Yarn needle
Crochet hook size “G”

For crochet: chain, single crochet, decrease, and how to make a magic ring. For embroidery: you need to know chain stitch and lazy daisy stitch.
