Stay toasty in this quick knit hoodie or skip the hood for a cozy v-neck. Pop it over your favorite jeans or sweats for comfort and style. Easy texture accents the kangaroo pocket & optional hood–which are both worked seamlessly into the garment. optional waist shaping is included to flatter your figure, along with detailed notes about how to place it according to your actual waist length. Pullover is worked from the top down with raglan style blousy seamless sleeves for truly minimal finishing. Check out my adorable test knitters by clicking here.

Sizing - Sweater is shown in Size 3 with approximately 4.5”/11.5 cm ease. You’ll likely want some ease for layering, so choose a size that is larger than your actual chest measurement. For more of a boyfriend-style fit, choose a size that is 6-8”/15-20.5 cm larger than your actual chest measurement and skip the waist shaping. Bulky sweaters typically require more ease than lighter sweaters, as the fabric is thicker and therefore the interior of the sweater will be slightly smaller in circumference than the exterior.

Skills needed - Pattern is written for intermediate level knitters comfortable with reading their work, working from charts, picking up stitches, three-needle bind-off and a provisional cast-on. If desired, the provisional cast-on in this design may be replaced with a standard cast-on. In this case, pick up and knit stitches when the pattern calls for removing the provisional cast-on and knitting those sts.
