Mithril is a material mined by the dwarves of Moria. It can be used to make a coat that is super light and super strong and its beauty will never fade, which is why the metal was so highly valued. The word “mithril” comes from the words for “grey” and “glitter.” These socks will be light and warm and they have a little glitter to them, but they probably can’t protect you from a rampaging cave troll with a spear. So be on the lookout for those.
