This shawl is called Multiplicity because it can be worn in lots of different ways. The shawl is trapezium shaped, but could be made into a triangular version if you prefer (tips on how to do this are included in the pattern).

The piece is worked flat with the edges worked after without the need to rejoin the yarn (so only two ends to weave in)! I have also included a chart to help those who prefer it.

If you are making a triangular shawl you will need more yarn (I estimate about 600 yards).

You will need 17 x 12mm buttons - or you will need to adjust the buttonholes to suit the number and size of buttons you have.

I hope you all enjoy trying this pattern, and let me know if you find any other ways to wear it.

This pattern is now also available in German (translation by Jemely). The pdf is at the bottom of the blog page :)
