Mystic Meadows
If you purchase 5 patterns from my Ravelry Store at the same time (add them all to your cart before you check out), the least expensive one will be free.
Mystic Meadows is a rectangular stole that draws its inspiration from flowering midsummer meadows with colorful flowers of every hue.
In this design I was experimenting with the types of stitches used. The shawl starts at one edge with meandering flower stems, which are crowned with tulip-like flowers. After that, a background pattern of cables and lace is introduced, and there are some floral bouquets covering the back of the shawl. The last section is festooned with butterflies.
This shawl contains lace, cables, nupps, and various wraps. It also has lace patterning on both right side and wrong side rows to challenge the knitter. The pattern never really repeats, so there is always something new and interesting happening.
