This is a pattern for a knit shawl that features two lace (and cable-lace) stitches that come to us from Japan. The focal stitch is an intricate and unique cable lace stitch that makes quite a statement. The border stitches are also unique, but quite a bit easier to knit. Combined, they make a one of a kind shawl, quickly becoming an heirloom.

Skill Level: Intermediate (assuming a basic knowledge of cable-lace knitting).

The two stitches are both charted amd written out line by line

The wrap was expertly tested Beverly Long, who can be reached at: Blong39 @hotmail.com., and it was knit using Lorna’s Laces Sportmate in colorway, Kay Largo.
