Three of my favorite design elements are combined in the Naudain Shawl: an asymmetrical triangle worked from tip to base, interesting textures, and color.

The instructions and final dimensions are given for fingering weight yarn. Any weight of yarn and the appropriate needle size can be substituted: just be aware that any substitutions will change the amount of yarn used and the size of the finished shawl.

Be sure to read the Notes & Techniques section before starting.

The finished measurements are a wingspan of 64” after blocking and a center back length of 27” after blocking. Your measurements may vary depending on your gauge, the yarn you use, and how aggressively you block.

The sample shown is worked with two skeins of Cumbria Fingering in Scafell Pike (grey) and Helvellyn (green), and was worked on a US size 5 (3.75mm) 32” circular needle.
