Please note that the original pattern uses British terms. You could probably get an interesting variation if you don’t do the conversion.

This pattern is totally flexible and can be worked up in just about any type of fiber, with varying hook sizes. I’ve done it in worsted, DK and crochet cotton. Each was well received, and I’m sure I’ll make more. One skein is probably just about right, depending on your personal tweaks.
