Pattern Description from Interweave Knits, Summer 2006: “I used a single skein of silk yarn for this elegant little scarf. The lace pattern fit neatly into a simple frame of stockinette stitch. For easy knitting, I placed markers between the lace and stockinette sections. I’d never worked with silk before and loved how lightly it flowed through my fingers. I had difficulty winding it on a ball winder - it was too slippery to stay put - so I left it on my swift and knitted from there. I couldn’t carry my project around with me but I rather enjoyed having a designated knitting chair for working on this scarf.”

Yarn: Fiesta Yarns La Luz (100% silk; 220 yd 201 m/57 g): arctic ice, 1 skein.

This project is shown on pages 106-107 of Interweave Knits, Summer 2006. The pattern is NOT in the magazine, however. Readers are instructed to find instructions on the website.
