Piecrust Scarf
This pattern was inspired by the knit scarf “Just Enough Ruffles” by Laura Chau. I named it the Piecrust Scarf because when I was blocking it, the motion of pulling out the ruffles felt the same as when I make the fluted edge on a pie!
The unique texture of this scarf will make people ask you if it’s crocheted. It is! You can easily make this longer or shorter, or narrower or wider if you like. Gauge and yarn thickness is not important, just change your hook to suit your yarn. I would suggest a smooth yarn, not a bucle or mohair, so that the texture of the scarf is emphasized.
