A geometric indulgence crafted in garter stitch with endless possibilities for color combinations!
Playing with Parallelograms is a modular project that combines rectangular blocks with parallelograms. Here’s the shawl version of this pattern.
The blanket is worked in garter stitch with increases and decreases for shaping. Only one block is worked at a time, but some blocks transition directly into the next, while others are bound off. Stitches are then picked up along the sides to create the next blocks.
The pattern is written with schematic drawings to show the location of blocks. Use the included diagram to design your own color scheme!
Gauge is not critical for this pattern, but using a different yarn weight or needle size will affect the size of the finished project.
