Originally published in Machine Knitters Source magazine in 1995. Precious Friend is a soft doll that is 18 inches tall. She is stuffed with polyester fiberfill and, if made with machine washable yarn, can be tossed in the washing machine. Her hair is made of yarn and sewn on, and details such as toes, fingers, face, and even a little tush, are soft sculptured. A pattern for a romper for her to wear is included.
