So you like to crochet in rows, but you don’t want to make another blanket that’s just more back and forth stripes? Well, have I got something for you! Meet Prismatic - it’s mod, it’s different, and it’s surprisingly easy to make.
Complete crochet charts are included and can be used on their own or as a helpful tool with the written pattern.
Instructions for 5 different sizes - Rectangle Baby, Square Baby, Small Throw, Medium Throw, Large Throw (see details below) - are included in the pattern.
Instructions are included for making the stripe sequence in the photos or for creating your own.

Details
Crochet terminology: both US and UK
Skill level: intermediate
Stitches used: (listed in US terms) ch, sc, dc, fptr, bptr, cluster, standing sc, decreases
Sizes: Rectangle Baby 47.5” x 38.5” (Square Baby 40 x 40; Small Throw 61 x 47.5; Medium Throw 70 x 61; Large Throw 79 x 61)
Hook size: 4mm & 4.5mm or size needed to obtain gauge and one size up
Gauge: 16 dc and 8 rows is about 4 inches before blocking
Additional materials:yarn needle for weaving ends
Yarn
1 ball each Stylecraft Special DK in (A) Apple, (B) Lime, (C) Dandelion, (D) Clementine, (E) Spice, (F) Raspberry, (G) Plum, (H) Proper Purple, and 2 balls each of (J) Parma Violet
This amount of yarn will make either of the baby blankets and the small throw (pictured), or you’ll need 2 balls each of A-H and 3 balls of J for the medium or large throws.
OR, about 1,750 (1,520; 2,800; 4,160; 4,690) yards of DK weight yarn
