“Condo” knitting was a term that surfaced for a short time in knitting magazines in the ’80s. It mimics the technique of wrapping yarn around the needle in one row and then dropping the wrap off the needle in the next row. To condo knit, you simply work some rows with very large needles and other with small needles. This creates a pattern of elongated stitches and short stitches.
