Rococo Mittens
by SpillyJane
New SpillyJane mittens - mittens are attributed to Jane Dupuis in the book. Don’t be fooled! :)
From Knitting Architecture:
“Knit from the bottom up in the round, with an afterthought (peasant) thumb and symmetrical decreasing at the top, SPILLYJANE’S (Jane Dupuis’) Rococo Mittens are worked in a traditional stranded Fair Isle technique. When the wearer joins their hands together, a flourishing, ornate design runs across both mittens. This playfulness and clever design are hallmarks of the period.”
