Wrap yourself in this wonderfully woolly and warm hug of a shawl. It’s got it all: lovely texture, fun bobbles and cute tassels. What a treat!
The shawl begins at the top center and is worked outwards to the mock cable border. The main body of the shawl is worked in three stitch patterns: Garter, Ribbing and Rhombuses. After completing the shawl’s main body, you will work a simple mock border. Finally, add optional tassels for even more texture and fun!

Rosaspina has been created in collaboration with Lanivendole. You can get the fabulous yarn I used for this shawl here.

Size
One size
Wingspan: 196 cm/78.5”.
Depth: 92.5 cm/37”.

Yarn
4 skeins of A Stormy Blend DK by Lanivendole (70% Wool, 30% Alpaca; 220m/241y per 100g); Sample shown in Rosaspina.
Or 880m/964y of any other DK weight yarn with similar yardage, which gives you the correct gauge.

Needles
4.5 mm/US #7 circular needle (100 cm/40” long).

Other
2 stitch markers, tapestry needle for weaving, crochet hook for optional tassels, blocking pins.

Gauge
17 sts and 32 rows = 10 cm/4” in Garter stitch worked flat (after wet blocking).
The gauge isn’t crucial on this project, but differences will affect the finished size as well as the required yardage.
