Santa Fe Senorita, #2597. Our little 1824 southwestern miss is ready for a buggy ride into town. Crochet pattern leaflet includes instructions to make her skirt, blouse, sash, pantalets, moccasins, rebozo (shawl) and pouch. Made from an assortment including Luster Sheen, worsted weight and cotton yarns and perle cotton (or substitute #10). Fits 18” American Girl Dolls, Springfield Dolls, Goetz Dolls and similar sized dolls. I designed this outfit with the American Girl Josefina doll in mind.

Materials: Sizes E and G crochet hooks and size 7 steel hook or sizes needed for gauge; 24” of 3/4” blue satin ribbon; three 2 ½“ diameter rubber bands or 1/4” elastic cut to size with ends sewn tog, 5/8” gold decorative button; 5½ oz. Red Heart Super Saver art. E3 00 #4376 burgundy fleck worsted weight yarn; 6 oz. # 1 white J. & P. Coats Luster Sheen art. A95; Peaches & Creme art. 930H worsted weight cotton—1½ oz. #26 lt. blue, 1½ oz. #10 yellow, 1½ oz. #3 cream, 1 3/4 oz. #97 burgundy, 2½ oz. #133 shaded denim, 1 oz. #121 chocolate, 2½ oz. #91 butterscotch; 75 yds. #1 white #5 Perle Cotton.

Note: You may substitute # 10 cotton thread for perle cotton if you obtain correct gauge.

GAUGE
With G hook and worsted weight: 4 pattern sts (sc in next st, dc in next st) and 3 pattern st rnds = 1 inch.

With G hook and worsted weight cotton: 4 sc and 5 sc rows = 1 inch.

With E hook and Luster Sheen: 5 sts and 4 1/2 hdc rnds = 1 inch.

With size 7 steel hook and #5 perle cotton: 8 sc and 9 sc rows = 1 inch.
