33 whole hexagons and 4 half hexagons required.
12 x 100g balls of background colour
5 x 100g balls of bold colours (green, red, blue, orange)
1 x 100g balls of pale colours (light blue, pink, yellow, mauve)
No specific yarn is suggested, but it should be in the region of 85m per 100g according to the pattern.
