From the description: This design takes advantage of yarn that is available in both bulky and worsted weights. It knits up quickly in the bulky yarn, yet allows you to add beading detail with the same yarn in the worsted-weight center panel. If you can’t find the same yarn in the two weights, you can use a contrasting color for the center panel, or try two strands of yarn in place of the bulky weight, and one strand for the worsted-weight section.
