This is an unusual design that is knitted top-down in the round, but uses a thick yarn, and a thin yarn, alternating 1 round of the thick yarn with 2 rounds of the thin yarn, to achieve incredible texture. The slipped stitches give it a great deal of substance. I started with the MC in Silky Twist (shown in 250 cream) and the CC in Beaded Silk and Sequins (shown in H11 Metal). Once i ran out of 1 skein of Beaded Silk and Sequins, i changed over to Merino Cloud in the same color, H11, for the cc. Here are the quantities for the various sizes:
(32, 36) (40, 44, 48) (52, 56)” chest circumference
Main Color (MC): Silky Twist (3, 3) (4, 4, 5) (6, 6) sks
Contrast Color (CC): 1 sk Beaded Silk and Sequins and Merino Cloud (1, 1) (1, 1, 1) (2, 2) sks
