Using knit belows to make a delicate yet warm hat. This pattern is fully written out so experience with charts is not required. I’ve tried to describe everything as simply as possible so that someone who has never knit below, could pick up this pattern and complete it.

I’m a huge fan of this hat, not just because I worked the pattern but for two reasons: the first is that is looks beautiful and I’m so happy with the way that the pattern turned out, and second is because this pattern pulls in pieces and things that I have learned from a few other patterns.

It’s always enjoyable to feel your own progression as a knitter, and if you have not yet tried knitting below or this blossom/dandelion stitch before, I hope you’ll feel the same way about this pattern.

The dandelion stitch uses knit below’s and knit togethers in alternating rows to create this beautiful pattern.
