An asymmetrical Tunisian crochet triangle shawl made by holding two skeins of fingering weight double and a contrasting color for bold stripes, making a striking and cozy shawl

This is a perfect shawl. It works up quickly, holding two strands of fingering weight double throughout. The simple stitch makes for mindless stitching and a strong border adds interest without adding difficulty. With the striping, this shawl is a striking accessory, perfect to keep warm and just look cool.

I used a kitchen scale to measure how much yarn I had left. I used a tonal and a variagated held double for the Main Color and a semisolid held double for the Contrasting Color.

The finish dimensions are 70” by 18”.
You will need a 9mm Tunisian crochet hook with a 30” cord. I use WeCrochet hooks and I think that they are the best. Click the link HERE to pick up some hooks yourself.
