Sunset Stripes Ruana
This ruana features an appealing stripe pattern, with elongated double crochet stitches adding texture and airiness to the design. The striking arrow-patterned band is worked separately and adds a western flair.

Finished Size 64” chest circumference and 28” long from shoulder. Modeled on a 36” bust.
Yarn Sugar Bush Yarns Cabot (70% Pima cotton, 30% linen; 291 yd / 3.5 oz): #9015 stormy sky (A), #9001 western white (B), #9012 richer rose (C), 2 hanks each; #9006 portage peach (D), 1 hank.
Hook Size F/5 (3.75 mm). Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
Notions Yarn needle.
Gauge 18 sts and 12 rows (10 sc rows and 2 long dc rows) = 4”.
Notes Ruana is worked in 1 piece, beginning at the bottom of the back up to the shoulders, then the piece is split into 2 fronts and worked down to the bottom front. Arrow band is worked separately.
